AUSTRALIAN LABOUR.
DISPUTES WITH SEAMEN.
KOORINGA NOW IDLE.
Australian and H".Z. Cable' Association. CRecd. 7.80 p.m.) SYDNEY, May 7.
The steamer Kooringa belonging to the McHwraith, McEachara Line, has been rendered idle at Melbourne as the result of th© action of the Seamen's Union. When the Komura, of the same line, reaches her home port of Melbourne, she also will be laid up, as there is trouble aboard owing to a dispute over a minor injury to a fireman. The fears that were entertained concerning the Hobson Bay proved groundless, the vessel having signed on a new crew without difficulty.
