Harringtons (N.Z.), Ltd., will conduct a weekly Photographic Contest, commencing Monday next. The contest is open to allcomers. There is no entrance fee; any make of camera and film may bo us?a. Take just whatever subject you like. The contest will be a weekly event, the first to take place NEXT Monday. Contests will be conducted as follows:— Monday will bo " Contest Day." all films handed in for developing and printing on Monday, and before 2 p.m., automatically enter for the contest. After development the films are judged and the best picture declared the winner. ' The prize will be a handsomely-mounted Art Enlargement of the winning picture, the size being up to 15 bv 12 inches, according to the capacity' of the negative. The winner will learn of his success upon calling for his developed films. On Wednesday and Thursday of, each week the winning picture of the week's contest, together with .the. Prize Enlargement ana the Winner's Name, -will be displayed in Harringtons' shop window, 140, Queen Street, Auckland. The winner will be presented with his Prize Enlargement at 5 p.m. on Thursday, or as soon after as is convenient to call. ' COUNTRY RESIDENTS AND SUBURBANITES— mailing films direct to us for developing and printing, mark the spool " Contest " if it is to enter for the contest the film will participate in the first contest after receipt. . Films may also be entered in the- contest by leaving them with your local photographic dealer. Mark the spool " Contest," . instructing him to enter it in the contest, and he will forward it to us. IMPORTANT. weekly contests will not interfere with our " Same-day " Developing and Printing : Service. Films in by 10 a.m. ready by 4.45 the same day; films in by 2 p.m. ready 12.30 p.m. next day.
