PROBATION FOR ONE YEAR. [As a result of the conviction of Arthur Alfred Bernard Barker, for attempted indecent assault, being upheld by the Court bf Appeal, the young man, for whom Mr. A. Moody appeared, came before Mr. Justice Stringer in the Supreme Court yester- • .day for sentence. Counsel asked for probation.
