MR. PARR IN AUCKLAND.
The Hon. C- J. Piurr, Minister for Justice and Education, who * left Wellington on Saturday; by motor-car, arrived in Auckland last evening. The Minister, !ri company with Mr. C. E. Matthews, controller of prisons, inspected operations at Waimarino, wbero the department is conducting sawmilling and quarrying metal for the main road- Ho also impeded the Heutn Reformatory farm at Tokaanu, where the department is breaking in .an area of 10,000 acres of typical ~pumico\ country. The Waikeria ; Rsformatoiy 'farm, . near ,To Awamutu, i was inspected yesterday and in the afternoon Mr. .r*rr i left for Auckland, arriving at 10 p.m.
