WIRELESS CONFERENCE.
KING'S SPEECH RECEIVED. A", and N.Z. GENEVA, April 26. At the closing session of the preliminary conference to devise international rules for governing broadcasting, the delegates from 15 countries were present. They rose and listened-in to the National Anthem as it was played at the opening of the Empire Exhibition at Wembley; also to an Esperanto translation of the King's speech. The conference resolved to urge the international regulation of wave-lengths and the adoption of Esperanto as an auxiliary language for international broadcasting.
