Monday. ■, The Cabinet discussed the railwaymen's j latest proposal 'ibis afternoon and a reply | will be sent to the A.S.R.S. to-morrow j morning. In the meantime nothing is divulged, but at may be presumed that the proposal will not be agreed to and that there will be added a stipulation that, the men must resume work before further negotiations can take place. This surmise is, however, entirely unofficial.
