TEN MURDERS BY NEGRO.
EIGHT KILLED WITH AXES. NEW YORK, Arril 13. A negro named John Clark has confessed that he slew eight people with axes, killed a man with a wrench, and aleo a woman with a flatiron. The. detectives, who are investigating the case, believe that Clark is connected with the notorious axe murderer who was responsible for several deaths in Alabama, and for whom a search has been in progress for two years.
