DISPUTES WITH SEAMEN.
SPREADS TO THE CHILLAGOE \ Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 5.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, April 23. The shipping trouble on the Katoomba and the Kyogle has spread to the Chillagoe, now at Sydney. A few weeks ago the master logged one of the men as a deserter. The union demanded cancellation of the entry and payment of certain money to the man. The company declined, and the steamer is laid up.
