Mrs. Patterson, who recently obtained a divorce front Otto Hey worth, a Chicago millionaire, appeared in Court and made a pathetic appeal that Harry Husey, an alleged international thief who is awaiting extradiction to the United States, be allowed to leave the prison, if only for half an hour, in order that they might be married before he was taken away. She said she was convinced of her lover's innocence. "I wish to consecrate by marriage the great love I have born him." She said : "He has made me very happy." The Court,' promised to help, saying there was no objection to the parties being married in prison. The banns have already been published. Mrs. Patterson appeared in Court on crutches, not having yet recovered from the effects of a fall from a window at an hotel.
