On the second day of the pageant the historical aspect of the Empire is to be depicted, and on the third day the commercial development. Sir James Allen, Sir Arthur Myers, and the New Zealand ommisCsioner, Mr. A. F. Roberts, have considered the matter, and have decided that New Zealand should be represented in the historical pageant on the second day, but they consider they are not justified in pledging the Dominion to the expense of taking part in the proceedings 011 the third day. Mr. W. Pemlier Reeves is being consulted as to the manner in which New Zealand shall be presented in the historical portion of the pageant. ,
