CHILD'S SHOCKING DEATH.
FALL INTO BOILING WATER. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PHESS ASSOCIATION.] IHJNEKN. Sunday. * Joan Maureen Barton, aged one year and nine months, was admitted to the Dunediu Hospital on Friday evening suffering from extensive burns, and died on Saturday afternoon from the injuries she had received. At an inquest to-day a verdict of death due to ■ shock following burns, caused by falling into a basin of boiling water, was returned. The coroner added • that the mother * had done everything possible for the child.
