WIRTH'S CIRCUS.
MANY NEW FEATURES.
Performers from many of the leading countries of the world will appear at Wirth's Circus, which will open in Auckland on the old dock site on Wednesday for a season of eight nights and as many matinees. Prince Gniseppi Bignoli, said to be the smallest jockey and comedy performer in the world, is one of the stars. Bert Hughes will appear with a company of men and women who play basket-ball on bicycles, an act described as being remarkably clever. Men and lady riders are among the performers, and in this connection, Alfred Clark, said to be the finest rider in England, will be seen. A sensational act will be performed by the Flying Lloyds, who are described as whirlwind acrobats. Wirth's Circus has always been famous for its menagerie, and this year, it is claimed, its reputation is more than sustained. The menagerie will be open between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. each day.
