Preparations for the holding of _ the Franklin Racing Club's Meeting at Pukeliohe on the 29th inst., are, well forward, and th* carpenters are now busily engaged in erecting a new building for the accommodation of the totalizator staff. The race track has received attention, and with fine weather on Saturday, -March 29, racegoers may be expected to journey in strong force to Pukekohe in order to assist at the gathering. Acceptances for all close ' on the 21st inet.'
