KNIFE-GRINDER'S LEGACY.
£900 FOR WORKLESS MAN. LONDON, Mar. 9. John Tomson, aged 25, who is at present out of employment, but. who was formerly a warehouse porter in 'Glasgow, has unexpectedly received a legacy of £900 from John Boleyn, a 65-year-old knife-grinder, who died from heart failure in . a municipal lodging-house in Glasgow., Boleyn, who was supposed to be .penniless,, was a well-educated man, and was formerly a driller in a Clyde shipyard. He also contributed • verse to a magazine. Both Boleyn and Tomson were teetotallers and non-smokers, and were interested in poetry and music.
