The sentence would have been heavier but mercy was shown because the man confessed and furnished the authorities with valuable details of the method of operation of! Kansas City Medical College, from which; thousands of ignorant*and unscrupulous men have received diplomas for cash' consideration.
The authorities have begun to search for other unqualified doctors in many States whose names were. furnished by the prisoner..\
