Playing for Sydney against Glebe, Asher's " googly " bowling was practically unplayable. He took seven wickets for 27 runs. Batting for Paddington against Petersham Wells scored 104; for Waverley against Mosman Caswell made 154, not out; and for St. Qeorge against Marrickville Fusedalc made 109.
