The Birkenhead Borough Council hereby gives notice in pursuance of Section 9 of the above-mentioned Act. 1. That the purpose for which the Loan is required is: — (a) The construction in Union asphalt of footpaths in the following streets in the Borough, viz.: Albert St., Akarana St., Arawa St., Balrnain Rd., Beach Rd., Birkdale Rd., Brassey Rd,, Carlton Terrace, Crescent Rd.. That it is proposed to make such Loan repayable in Thirty-Six and a half (36|) years with provision for a Sinking Fund of not less than One Pound (£1) per centum per annum. 5.
