WAITEMATA CLUB'S CARNIVAL An attempt to lower her own New Zealand record for 200 metres will be made by Miss G. Shand. champion' lady swimmer of the Dominion, at the Waitemata, Swimimnß Club's carnival, to be held in the Tepid Baths to-morrow evening. Miss Shand : has been selected to represent New Zealand at the Olympic names. In addition to a fine supporting programme, an. exciting- contest should be witnessed in the ladies' inter-club relay championship over 500 yards, with five ladiee in., each team.
