A DUPE OF CSEMENT.
IRISH SOLDIER RELEASED. SENTENCED FOE TREASON. A. and N.Z. LONDON, Fob. 10. Joseph Bowling. one of the Irish soldiers whom Sir Roger Casement recruited in a German internment camp and landed on the Irish coast from a German submarine in 1918., has been released. Dowling, after arrest, was court-mar-tialled and sentenced to death for treaEOll - The sentence later was commuted to imprisonment for life.
