TO-DAY'S FORECAST. GOVERNMENT REPORT. The Government Meteorologist re-report-ed last night as follows: Present indications are for moderate to strong north-wesit to south-west winds and changeable weather generally with j scattered showers, especially in districts ; with ft westerly aspect. The barometer is unsteady. HERALD SPECIAL FORECAST. The following weather forecast for '24 hours from 7 a.m. to-day was supplied to us by Mr. H. M. Vincent last evening: The weather is likely to be cloudy and unsettled, with scattered rain. Very warm and humid conditions will rule, and thunderstorms phould be experienced in northern and east coast districts, but, though fairly heavy, the rain will not be o'i very long duration.
