Vaxr, * Morrinsvilla to-day, 'asking hint to communicate with the Minister for Agriculture, asking: him to send » T f"S surgeon to the district to investigate the trouble that has arisen in regard to the sterility of <jows, among herds in the district. The deputation said that tne question was an extremely serious one. Mr. Crowe, the deputation a spokesman, gave several instances of sterility in the cows of one herd, only 25 out of 200, and in another only four out of do were in calf. He stated that many settlers were considering the question of giving up their farms.
