TIME-SAVING GLOVES.
The pull-on glove, without button or hook of any kind, is much sought after as a practical time-saver. Gauntlet cuffs are still worn, in a contrasting colour to the glove itself. Black has a gauntlet of royal blue, scarlet or buff brown; white ha» cherry, green, scarlet, or blue to give it chic. Beige is faced with dark brown, almond green, old gold, or old rose pink. A new idea is gauntlets is a double row of petal-shaped pieces of kid; like the glove, that covers the wrist. Three other petals in velvet fall over the hand, these latter being of some bright shade or of black, according to the colour scheme. . A fancy evening glove that has just appeared is of elbow length, with buttons that fasten up the inner side of the arm from the beginning' to the end. The top is scalloped and bound with a colour usually white on a black glove. The small perforated gauntlet that sits up or flops down, according to the whim of the wearer, is still t) the fore, 1 and is much worn in the afternoon with a dress that has hardly any sleeve at all. This is not a case where extremes meet.
