PRESENTATIONS.
MR. C. J. SCHNAUER. Members of the Onehunga Bowling Club assembled in 'full force on Saturday afternoon, to bid farewell to an ex-presi-I dent. Mr. C J. Schnauer, who, with Mrs. Schnauer, will leave by the Makura tomorrow, on an extended tour. Mr. E. V. Sutherland, presented Mr. Schna.uer with a travelling rug, and wished him bon voyage and a safe return. In Mi reply, Mr. Schnauer said he and Mrs- Schnauer would spend about six weeki* in the United States, and leave England in October, visiting Singapore and Java before returning to the Dominion about Christmas time. A Provincial. Grand Master for New Zealand, of'the Grand Lodge of Ireland, and Past Maxtor of Lodge Ara, Mr. Schnauer will officially represent New Zealand at several masonic functions in England, and will take part in various communications of the Grand! Lodge of Ireland, in Dublin and in Belfast. A' presentation of a case of pipes has been made by the Auckland branch of tin j Government Life Insurance Department to Mr. J. B. Young, who has retired. from ' the position of chief clerk after 38 years' : service. Mr. Young lias left foi Wellingj ton, where he will in future reside.
