CONTROL Ot" THE CLINICS. The control of the clinics . established at the city hospital four years ago for the treatment of venereal disease will pass from the Health Department to the hospital boards on April 1 next. The new genito-urinary block at the Auckland qospital will be suitably equipped for treatment of the disease, and pending its completion . the board intends to imErove the present method of treatment, luring 1923, 477 cases cr venereal disease among males and 77 cases among females were-dealt with at ? the clinic for the flr6t time, while 43 males and 11 females tfete found not to be infected. The total number of treatment.;; given to males -was 7389 and to females 1061.
