The following reasons show why Afforestation, Ltd., has such an overwhelming advantage over the other treegrowing projects which followed when their promoters found out what a fine investment tree-growing is, and accounts for its tremendous success:~ 1. Full-time maintenance—this is a big factor in the cost of a proposition. A man would find it expensive to maintain a plantation himself. 11. Undivided control. 12.
