Brodie, Roman *~ CatkoHe \ Bishop of Christchurch. The deceased, Who was born in Kin vara, County o*l-. . way, Ireland, went to ■>/Sydney in 18M ; and the foltoy/ing year proceeded to Grey-';, mouth, Westlana,;Whero she was married -V 5 to. Mr. P. Brodie. Mr., and Mr* JJrodie', came North in 1869 and after , residing' , lev a year at Thames, ' removed to' Goto-?-. maudel where they remained for fifteen years. Mr, • Brodie engaged in the hotel-':. keeping business and was widely known 1 ' on the goldfields. The family removed totfvs, Auckland in 1884. On the death of her ' husband in .1895 Mrs. Brodie lived pi- < vately until her < death. .
