NOTE AIRMAN'S DIVORCE
AN UNFAITHFUL WIFE. LONDON, Dec. 8 , Commander Samson, the famous airman, has been granted a divorce on the ground, of his wife's misconduct with a naval lieutenant at Malta., ' -■.. i Commander C. R. > Samson. R.N., CM.G.. D.5.0., entered the Navy m 1898 He took his certificate as an air pilot in 1911, and signalised the occasion by flving over the : Kaiser's yacht, then at anchor in the Medway. Be r was the ' first to carry out experiments with a seaplane, to make night a. flights ; across country, and to make an ascent from th« deck of a man-of-war while steaming. His exploits in the war are said to have gained him ■: the distinction of * haying • a price placed on : his head by the Germans.
