MT. EDEN DRAINAGE LOAN.
AMOUNT INSUFFICIENT. ANOTHER £13,500 TO BE RAISED. . V The Mount Eden Borough Council resolved by special order fo borrow £13,500, being one-tenth of the original loan of £135,000, raised for the construction of permanent drainage works, . provision of additional water mains, improvement of waterworks system, and completion of the construction "of roads and streets, the original loan being insufficient to complete the undertakings in respect of which it was raised. The interest on the loan is at the rate of 5£ per cent, per annum.
