PROVISION OF PARACHUTES. A. and N.Z. LONDON. Dec. 16. A conference between aerial syndicates decided that all passenger-carrying aeroplanes from January 1 shall carry parachutes. Recently Mademoiselle Collin dropped from an aeroplane, which was travelling at 90 miles an hour, with a parachute, which unfolded normally and enabled her to land safely.
