Uaviv A successful exhibition of school work, cookery, handiwork, and garden produce, the work of the children of Warkworth and surrounding districts was held in the "Warkworth Town Hall last wgek. Th© entries totalled 927, and a high standard of excellence waa reached in most of the classes. This was particularly noticeable in the work shown by the newly established Warkworth High School. The profit is about £25, which will carry a subsidy from the board. The money will be used to improve th© school grounds. It is anticipated that the attendance at the High School will show a considerable increase after the holidays, and it will •u ,he necessary to provide increased bunding accommodation. The present school building is barely large enough for. the primary sfchool pupils.
