RECORD .IN ENTRIES. [by TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] v ; WELLINGTON. Monday. .The New Zealand chess tournament frill be held in; Wellington this year, beginning on , Boxing ' Day. There are 21 entries, and, if all appear, there will be a record, the previous best being 20, at the Chris tchurch Exhibition, in 1906. &n this occasion the time limit has been narrowed to 20 mpves per hour, and if more than 16 compete, players will be divided into two sections. The four highest in each will play off.
