ENGLISH RUGBY TRIALS.
LAWTON PASSED OVER.

Widespread surprise has been expressed that Lawton, the Now South Wales footballer, has been passed over in favour of Kitterm&ster for the English Rugby trials. The only explanation that can be given is that the selectors are taking a long view, as Lawton will be returning in due course to Australia, while Kittermaster will be available to England for some years to come.
