[bt; telegraph.—own ~ correspondent.] TE. AROHA. Thursday. During, the visit of the Hon. W. Nosworthy to Te Aroha, deputations representing various local bodies, interviewed him with regard to various matters. In regard to the public library, the Minister stated that he Was prepared to give £25 per annum, if the borough council will give £25, toward supplies of new books. Other matters referred to were the recstablishment of a tea-kiosk in the domain, the subsidising of the municipal band, and the request that an area of about 2CC acres of hillside land, be vested in the borough. The movement to erect a new hall at ElstOrt, is rapidly being alvanced. ;\ A poll of ratepayers in the lamina riding of the Piako County lias sanctioned the raising of a loan of £12,000 for road■ing scheme proposals. The voting was, 30 for and two against. \
