CHILDREN'S BALLOON HUNT. OVER 1500 BOYS AVD GIRLS AT "THE FARMERS'." £5 PICKED' UP IN HARBOUR. The balloon hunt organised by the Farmers' Trading Company attracted over 1500 children to Hobson Street last Saturday morning, and-every little visitor to the "Trading Company's warehouse received a free balloon. Promptly at 11, five balloons, filled with gas and punctured were liberated from the roof promenade. Attached to each balloon was a paper tag offering one of the fallowing cash rewards .to the finder: First, £5; second, £4; third. £3; fourth, £2;. fifth, £1. A strong westerly was blowing, and four of the balloons were carried to the harbour. Lyal Mavo, of 1, "Scarborough Street, Ponsonby, who was in his father's launch, captured the £5 balloon off Queen's Whuff. The £3 balloon ■fell into the playground of the school in Wyrdhnm Street", and was picked up by G. H.
