POLO.
JUNIOR CUP MATCH. The first match for the Polo Cup was played on the Claudelands racecourse on Saturday afternoon between Cambridge and Hamilton. It was won by Cambridge by seven goals to 0. The teams were:—Cambridge: Meredith, Fisher, Taylor, Arnold, Hamilton: W. Eanstead, Graham, Yule. Swarbrick. > The principal feature of the game was the play of Arnold, whoso dash and hoTsemanriiip were admirable', while !his backhand work was brilliant. He scored' four of the seven goalß. , The, fifth spell was the brightest, the local four holding its own. They came down two or three times, but on the whole . the Cambridge men had the game well in hand all the time Mr. W. (J. Poutney was referee, and Mr. W. Robinson was timekeeper.
