The Gisborne armers steamer Tiroa was expected to leave Gisborne on Saturday night for Auckland, where she is due today. The ketch Huanui sailed from Gisborne on Thursday for Auckland. The schooner Elsie Mary sailed from Gisborne for Auckland at 9 a.m. on Saturday.

The Komata, en route from Southern ports, is expected at Wellington to-day. to load for Auckland. The vessel should reach this port about Thursday morning. The Kaitangata sailed on Saturday afternoon for Southern, ports. On arrival at Dunedin the vessel will be laid up lor annual overhaul and survey. The Arahura arrived last evening from East Coast ports, and berthed at the Queen's Wharf. She is timed to sail for Tokoman:. Gisborne. and Napier at 4 p.m. to-morrow. The Kakapo arrived on Saturday morning from Greymoiilh. via Napier. She berthed at the Central Wharf to discharge a part ■cargo of coal. From Auckland the vessel goes to Portland, New Plymouth and Wellington. THE RON A. KENT CLEARED PANAMA. The Federal Line steamer Kent, en route from Liverpool to Auckland,. cleared 1 anarna on November 20. She is due at this port about December 16. MONTROSE FROM TEXAS. The steamer Montrose, 4452 „tons. is reported to have sailed from Galveston on October 27, and New Orleans on November C for Auckland. Sydney. (.eelong and Adelaide. R.M.S. MAKURA SAILED. • The Royal Mail steamer Makura. after landing passengers, mails and cargo at Auckland tor New Zealand, resumed her voyage to Sydney from Vancouver on Saturday afternoon. She is due at Sydney o,i Wednesday morning and is scheduled; to sail from there on December (5 for Vancouver via Auckland, Suva and Honolulu. CAPTAIN CORNWALL. Captain Cornwall. R.N.R.. one of the two R.N R aides to His Majesty, has been appointed to Portsmouth to take the senior officers' course. THE SCHOONER HUIA. The Nobel Explosive Company's auxiliary schooner Huia- arrived from Dunedin on Saturday morning, and berthed at the King's Wharf to discharge her cargo of 200 tons of general merchandise. The vessel left Dunedin e-a November 16, and expferincd light to frsh head winds moat of the way to Auckland. After discharge the Huia will -locoed to Awanui to load a cargo of timber for Australia. Captain Lane, who has been ashore on sick leave for five month*, will resume command of the Huia to-day, relieving Captain M. Himainen, who haa bfeen temporarily in charge of the vessel.
