WAR MEMORIAL Ftofß. CONTRIBUTIONS INVITED. To further the object of the appeal, the proprietors of the New Zealand Herald have decided to open a subscription list for the fund. Contributions will be received at the Herald Office, acknowledged in this column, and paid over to the citizens' committee, of which His Worship the Mayor is chairman. Those wishing to do so may send in their contributions by post to the Herald. Tho proprietors have further decided to head the list with a donation of £1000 HERALD WAR MEMORIAL FUND.
