CAPTAIN E. STOTT.
Captain E. Stott, who recently retired from the position of marine superintendent for the Union Company at Auckland", vas presented on Saturday : with a combination solid oak tantalus and cul glass holders and card equipment irora, the masters and officers of the Union Company. The presentation was mad© at the Merchant Service Guild by a deputation of masters, including Captains R. Crawford, A. E. Barlow and A. B. Davey, with whom was Captain Henderson, president of the Guild. Captain Crawford, on behalf of the masters and officers of the company, spoke in eulogistic terms of Captain Stott's serviced as marine superintendent. .
