MAN GERE CEMETERY.

Sir, —Paying my last respects the other day to a dear old friend, I had occasion to visit the Mangero Public Cemetcr , and was astonished to see the dilapidated condition it was in; paths almost overgrown with weeds, blackberries running all over the place, and grass fully 3ft. high. After noting how the cemetery is cared for by those in authority, and tho condition of tho tarred roads, I have come to tho conclusion that Mangero (Maori for lazy) is most appropriately named. Ora Pro Nobis. Mangcrc, Nov. 22, 1923.
