MASON RETAINS TITLE.

(Received 8.5 p.m.) Renter. LONDON, Nov. 22. Harry Mason retained the light-weight boxing championship of Europe and Britain, defeating Ernie Price on points. Rice was, always attacking and following Mason round the ring, but Mason, who was the more skilful of the two, led in points in the earlier rounds. Rice then took command for some time. He floored Mason twice in the fourteenth round and once in the fifteenth round. Thereafter Mason led to the twentieth round, when he was floored, and took the ; count at eight.
