RAVAGES OF HOOKWORM.
A. and N.Z. SYDNEY. Nov. 23. The annual report of the Aborigines' Protection Board shows that the native population continues to decrease steadily. It is estimated the full-blooded aborigines total 1214, compared with 1236 in 1917; and half-breeds 4783, compared with 4921. The aborigines in the North Coast "district are much infected with hookworm.
