Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 0.5 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 22. The National Union of Manufacturers has issued a statement based on questionnaires addressed to various trade associalions. The replies suggest that a tram on 50 per cent, of imported manufactures would provide employment for 500, usa; people now receiving the unemployment dole.
