FIRE AT TAURANGA.
THIRD WITHIN NINE DAYS. [BX TELEGRAPH. — CORRESPONDENT ) „ . V., TAURANGA, Friday. A- house .in Hunter , Street, •in the southern portion of the borough, owned and occupied by Mr. A. Sorrenson, was destroyed by fire • last night.- The occupants were absent from the house during the evening.'' Shortly before ten o'clock"a. neighbour observed that- the house- was ;on fire and advised the fire brigade which : quickly had ' water playing on the flames but the fire , had too strong a hold arid the building and' its contents were destroyed. The house was insured for £500 and r the furniture ' for £200 in the South British office. The cause of the fire is unknown. ' This is the third fire in the town and neighbouring area since November 14. i
