TWO MONTHS IN GAOL..
[BY . TELEURAFH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WHANGAREI. Friday. At Waipu yesterday a man named Iris Mark Hoggard, of Ruakaka, appeared before Mr. R. W. Tate, M., - charged -with the theft of gum, valued at £2 17s, from Messrs. Cosgrave and McNeill. Extended evidence was given '• by 14 witnesses, Hoggard was convicted and''sentenced to two months' imprisonment.
