SWIMMING.
PONSONBY CLUB'S GALA. A swimming sports gala, under the direction of the Ponsonby Swimming Club, will be held at the Shelly Beach Baths this afternoon, in aid of the Curran Street School funds. MILITARY SPORTS CONTEST. The first annual swimming carnival of the Auckland Military Sports Association will be held on Tuesday evening at the tepid baths. A . first-class programme, which includes water polo, swimming, diving and novelty events, will be given.
