An amateur judging ,qpnte^ for boys under the ag« of 18 yeats, 'was held under the .auspices of. the Friesian Society in connection with the Waikato Show today. , A large number of entries were received, and the competition showed' aptitude for the work. The winner, J. Allen, ■of Putaruru, carr,e within * four points of the judge's adjudication, and his effort is regarded as a very creditable one. The following were the results :— J. ;.'
