There is an exceedingly fine \ display of ; dairy cattle.; The judges awarded championships for the best pedigree Shorthorn cow and bull to Mr. J. SO. Wright (Mataou) ■ and ; for Ayrshire cow to Mr. T. H. Clopman (Oban). H. Stonex, ; Bellblock, was awarded the Jersey cow ' championship, and A. Uhlenberg Midhirst, the Jersey bull championship. The judge, ? Mr. -C. E. Robertson, "* said that the FHesian section on the whole was ~' absolutely - the best ever '* exhibited in Australia or New Zealand. ' • The class for cows in milk and pair of females had never been equalled, in his opinion. ..'
