Out of 43 districts in Scotland which have already taken liquor control polls, only one, Auchterarder, near the Gleneagles golf links, has changed its policy, reversing its "dry" vote in 1920. In all other "dry" districts the majorities for continuance of the "dry" policy were reduced.
