NEW SERIES UNDER B.M.A. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association (Rccd. 9.5 p.m. SYDNEY, Nov. 7. Dr. Lindo Ferguson, of New Zealand, commercing on the work of the Medical Congress, said the absence hitherto of any organisation for carrying out the. recommendations of previous medical congresses and keeping them under the notice of different Governments tended to weaken tho effects which should be produced. It was feit desirable that a con-tin-ious organisation such as the British Medical Association, whose activities were constant rather than spasmodic, would prove more uucessful ; hence the inauguration of a new series of conferences under the auspices of that body.
