The Courtenay Place tram: junction is a favourite rendezvous for the thieves, while the vicinity of the General Post Office is not above suspicion. Tramway waiting {>laces, particularly in the busy thoroughares of the city, are selected by the thieves as localities in which to - foitei. Recently a young lady's handbag was snatched out of her hand' while waiting at the Courtenay Place tram stop. , Her: consternation was great when she ; found that she had lost the keys of the safe and cash box of the office §4 which she wag employed.
